nathan, a born and bred aussie from coastal victoria, in australia, packed his bags when he was 18 years old and moved to melbourne city. he has since spent the past twenty years dedicated to the hairdressing industry receiving numerous awards and is best known for winning redken’s future colourist of the year. 

nathan recently created melbourne’s first co-working hair studio - 1 maples lane, in prahran. the new studio provided an exceptional creative space to attract leading professionals within the industry. the colourist and stylist were able to be their own boss and have the flexibility they have always dreamed of. working their own hours and choosing their own clients by renting a residency at the serene and beautifully appointed communal spaces at 1 maples lane (finalist for a.h.i.a's best new salon design - 2021).

nathan came up with the concept of creating a co-working space after working as a sole trader for two years, and previous to that, owned and ran one of melbourne’s elite salons for 5 years.

nathan is passionate about the science of colour and often you will find him on the studio floor facilitating workshops sharing his in-depth knowledge of hairdressing principals, crafted over two decades. nathan has been platform educating for almost ten years and partnered with rogue beauty australia in 2022 as a hair colour artist using pulpriot hair colour. 

nathan has been lucky enough to travel the world with hair over the years and in january 2023 he moved to tel aviv in israel to continue his career as a hair colorist and facilitator.

nathan is now working with l'oréal hair color and extremely happy with the results and looks forward to working closer with the brand here in israel.
